New user w/ ? RE: Mypoints

Thanks to you all for all the information I have gotten just lurking and reading your posts. You have been a big help in getting me started earning RP. I have a question regarding Mypoints for Tupperware orders. I placed an order in May and had to contact them to have the points credited, which they did on July 5th. Today I read a post about ordering gift cert. and getting free Smidget set, which I jumped on immediately. When the order was complete I clicked for Mypoints to be awarded. A box came up saying "Congratulations...800 points awarded", but it said it was only available once every 365 days. It says on the website it is available monthly. Should I expect to be credited another 800 points this month? Can I use the gift cert. in Aug. to get another 800 points? I would appreciate any info!

I just got a gift certificate and it said "once every 30 days" for me. That's odd. However, I couldn't find the free smidget set. I looked everywhere for it. Oh well!

The Smidget Set was listed in the $10.00 and under section on page 2, if you choose Shop by Price. It let me select it at no charge even before I selected the gift certificate as my purchase. It is a little picture of 3 bowls, red, white and blue.

I think the free Smidgen promotion ended 7/7/03.

I just did a tupperware order and got the free smidgets still, so they're still available.

Also, if you click on the "Click here My points members" and it comes up "Congratulations", you should see the points in a day or so. Sometimes they are slower than others, but almost always, the next day.
They do allow you to do the banners monthly, but it's gotta be at least a month time wise, from my experience. So if you order on July 8, you can't order again until August 8th.

They must still be having the 10% off sale, too. I placed an order today for the cryatal wave soup mug, reg price $9.99 and got a $1.00 discount. Also got the Smidgets. Shipping was $2.49. total order was $11-something.

Now I just want my 800 points . That will put me over so I can order 3 gas cards for my October trip! Actually, once all my stuff posts in the next few weeks, I'll only be around 480 short for a fourth card. Too bad I don't need any more Tupperware

I hope so. I didn't get the points today from my gift certificate I bought yesterday. Has anyone noticed how slow they have been to post points lately? It feels like my balance hasn't changed in forever. (other than the book club points that came and went) I need those tupperware points to cash out!
