I've been in this situation with elder dd more times than I care to think about, Jeanette. Knowing what you should do and actually turning your back on your own "baby" will be easier said than done once your anger subsides, I know.she tried to tell me whats been going on in her own special way of not blaming herself.. she has said she needs help and is going to the doctors to ask for help.

For now, I'm just pleased for you that you're reunited with Charlie.
I'm glad they're back and I hope she can save the rent deposit for the new home and have a more settled future near you.
Hope she also has a thought for how this has affected her sister and will see her own family are looking out for her and Charlie's best interests in the long term.
's to you all.
