I know I'm in a minority, but I really liked it. was everyone seriously expecting a bloodbath, expecting something different than a happy ending? Anything else would have seems wrong to me, not becase I'm a love-sap, but because the characters deserved it.

Edward only wanted his child dead when he thought it was a demon that was killing Bella and itself. When he heard that the child had thoughts and feelings, he instantly loved her. And Bella wasnt off. The bond between a mother and her child is really strong.

Ah well, I really liked it.

lol I agree with you too! I actually liked it a lot! I thought the last Harry Potter book was like a fanfiction too. but it's not, you know. This is what happens.. it's in the book!

I found it quite like a fanfiction.
The only part of it that was like the other books was the very beginning.
All of the characters after that were just really off.
I'm not rereading it for a while.
And I don't think I'm going to be bothered buying Eclipse either. The novelty of owning kind of wore off after reading this book. I kind of wish I hadn't spent my money on them and had borrowed BD.

Then..things got weird along with the characters.

I finally finished it. I didn't have much time yesterday, what with Warped and everything...

and I'll say - It was okay. The beginning was too much... yeehaw. You know what I'm talking about. It was great in Eclipse when they talked about it, but when they wouldn't stop doing stuff, it got old real fast. And the whole Jacob part irritated the hell outa me. I kind of skimmed that part. I think it got a lot better after that... though still, it didn't seem plausible. I guess that's the biggest thing.. the other three books almost seemed scientifically plausible.

When I opened it and only saw the first 7 chapters on the table of contents list, I thought that the last chapter was 600+ pages. And then I read the book 1, book 2, book 3 thing and I got confused. :|
