Maybe it just before the wedding and Jacob is planning on sabotaging it, but Seth says, "No Jacob. You'll hurt her. Let her go." As in forget her and move on with your life. You're not getting her back...

I mean, like, I wouldn't put up a fight if that puppy imprinted on me.
He's only problematic when Edward's around.
