good choice Eilis!! As much as I LOVE Disney, this TTC thing comes first for us too. I'm so fortunate that we were able to go the past 3 years in a row, and enjoy our (hopefully) last few trips as a childless couple.

I had my ultrasound tonight, not sure what if anything she saw but I did end up having the regular pelvis and the trans-v as well. I guess the doc should have the results in a few day s:confused3

did you ask the tech? Most of the time they won't tell, especially if you had it done in a hospital. Hopefully everything is fine. Good luck!

I had both too. Kinda funny cause I was totally caught off guard having the trans-v the first time! I always laugh that somewhere in my mind I musta understood that it was going to be like that since I shaved my legs that am!:rotfl: Dr.K laughed with me while in there cause after we did the trans v he also did the roller over my belly:). Said to me after a long explanation of why we do the trans v I know you're not going to believe I'm going to do it this way too!

Let us know about your results. The toughest part of all of this is the waiting. . .

Hey girls!

So today....my biggest follicle grew from 15x16 (15mm by 16 mm width) to 17x19. The next one grew from 13x13 to 15x15. And the 12x13 grew to 13x14.

A 7x7 grew to possibly 11x12 but I can't read this copy they gave me too well so I could be wrong.

Those were all on the left. The 9x9 on the right grew to 11x11 so that one might get there too!!

My estrogen really kicked up yesterday, and I found out that's why they wanted to see me again today. The higher the estrogen, the faster the eggs grow. (But the eggs are actually the ones producing the estrogen)

It looks like I will have at least 3 mature eggs at the time of ovulation! And two possible other ones for a total of 4 or 5 !!

The dr was actually there today (he's usually gone before I get to my lunchtime appts so that was a shocker!) and when we talked to him briefly today, he wasn't going to increase my dose.

But then he got the bloodwork back and the nurse called me to say he's increasing it to 150 iu for tonight and tomorrow. Then I go in Thursday (at lunchtime again) to for u/s and bloodwork. And as long as those follicles and my lining look good I will trigger Thursday with IUI Saturday!!! (Lining was an 8 today, which is on the good side but I'm hoping it gets to 10 which would be great)

HOWEVER if I start to surge on my own by Thursday, then they would see that in my bloodwork, and they would do the IUI Friday. But we ended up with that last time and I just don't like the timing of things to be less than 24 hours after the trigger, whether I'm surging or not. So I'll see what happens Thursday!

OMGoodness! OMGoodness! OMGoodness! Sounds like a great start!:yay::yay:

:banana::yay::woohoo:

Sooo excited!

More good news: Kenny has given me free reign to decide our fall trip! :cool1:

I contacted a TA and got a great quote for the land and sea!!!!!! With this quote, we could actually afford DCL!!!!!! :dance3:

It turns out the month we're going the prices drop in cruises at DCL! I had already planned for us to go on RCCI instead, but this changes everything!

Oh, we may be going somewhere, ie Vegas or Eureka Springs for a couple of days on the week of June 17....I think it's our anniversary. :lovestruc

Still waiting on the RE. Once we get in, we're going to find out what they can do about my fibroids and see about our options. Regardless, due to my job, I will continue traveling when I can. Good luck to you ladies. Hope it all works well.

Gabbie (aka The Travel Writer also known as Anna). LOL.

I got the call from the doctor today, early than I thought, the tech told me 2 days but she got the results in less than 24 hours. Turns out I have a "pretty large complex cyst" on my right ovary. I didn't think to ask how large but I'm going to call back tomorrow and ask for a copy of the results, I've been trying to keep my own copies of my test results anyway.

She wants to do another ultrasound in 6 weeks and told me to keep her posted on how the pain is going and if anything changes. :confused3

very exciting! Glad you have so much fun stuff to keep your mind off the fibroids!

Aww, well I am glad they determined what is wrong. Good idea getting a copy of the results. I hope you aren't in too much pain, and pray that it goes away quickly.

So where do you go from here? Can they aspirate the cycst or do you have to wait until it ruptures? Not to scare you but it is very uncomfortable if it ruptures so make sure you have Aleve or Extra Strength Tylenol handy! Good job on keeping copies of your test results. I keep a folder with notes from my visits with DrK and the nurses. :)

Morining! AF arrived for a surprise visit last night:eek:! I wasn't expecting her til next week. So I went this am for an FSH and E2 and should have the results between 1 and 2 this afternoon. If I don't hear back by 2 I need to call and find out what's up. I called the pharmacy and my BCPs are there so I will pick them up on my way home after Meg's VB game this eveing.

I am so tired. Was out last night with Mike, my boss and his wife to a charity event. Lovely evening, unfortunately AF's unannounced visit called the eveing to an early close. I was up at 5:15 am and am totally exhausted. I saw the dr yesterday for my shoulder who confirmed I definately dislocated it; gave me exercises and then vicoden but I couldn't take the vicoden because I was afraid I wouldn't wake up for the tests this am! Not a comphy sleep:headache: I may need caffene. . .

Hope you are all well!

Right now its just wait and see, praying it works itself out some how.

I had a simple ovarian cyst when I was in college, it grew so big and became so painful that I had to have it removed. The surgery was supposed to be laparoscopic but once they got in there they realized they were going to have to open me up so I have almost a week in the hospital, a stomach full of staples, and several trips back to the ER for the incision opening I have a rather large scar on my belly. It was a very unpleasant experience and I'm praying I don't need to go through that again.

The thing that has me worried now is the last one was just a simple fluid filled cyst while this one is a complex cyst.

What a rough night. Sounds like you need that vicodin tonight!

Let us know when you hear the results!

That's what I am hoping. We really need this vacation to chill. :goodvibes I mean usually I'm sitting next to the pool with a beer but honestly if I'm sitting next to the pool with an ice water with lemon I'd be a heckofa lot happier!;) Never thought I would be so excited to start BCP's again!:lmao:

Shoulder is not feeling good right now. I know I'm whining. . . I just took 2 500 mgs of extra strenth tylenol cause I'm afaid to take advil. Dummy. . . I did have some regular coffee though cause I figured the cafene would also help with my shoulder pain. I am looking foward to indulging in the vicodin this evening.:woohoo:

Took dad to the dx today. He was too chicken to go without me. He got a clean bill of health. Sooo happy, that's one thing I don't have to worry about.

Guess who's on her way? AF. I can feel her. I got some progrestin cream today. It helps. And next Tuesday is mine and Kenny's 10 year anniversary as a couple anyway. Our 4 year wedding anniversary is on June 17. She always knows when to come! :scared1::mad:

Gabbie ~ That is great news about your Dad!:cool1: Sucky news about AF! That witch always seems to know how to ruin a party

So I got a call back from the RE IVF nurse this afternoon and looks like I'm cleared to go. My bloodwork came back normal so I start BCP's this eveing for a minimum of 21 days; then injectables for 7 days; then base line scan then u take some more meds and then you get set up for retreival. The nurse also told me to make sure to bring our calendar so that they can work around it. I asked about going away the last week of april and she said that if we needed to we could extend the BCP's to keep the process going. :) At anyrate everything is workable which is good, but if on a roll I would rather just go along with it and stay on the path. . . at least today. . .

Eilis I'm very glad to hear all systems are a go!!!

Woohoo, you're gonna have a little baby in your belly soon!

Hi Ladies!!! I was a member of the old TTC thread back in 2007. I got tons of baby dust from everyone and we conceived our first DS! He was born on 10/30/07 and is the best kid ever!!!!

We started TTC #2 in September of 2009 (after our WDW trip). We conceived in November of 2009, but, unfortunately, that pregnancy ended in a loss and D&C on 1/14/10. I went to the dr for my 8 week appt and there was no HB and the baby stopped growing at 6 weeks.

I waited 10 looooong weeks for AF to finally appear (with the help of Provera) and AF lasted for 16 days!!! Yes!!!! 16 days!!!!! I ended up ovulating on CD14 of that cycle, we tried but only 2x because of the bleeding. I got a BFN this morning. I am ok with it, but sad at the same time. We will continue to try. It took 5 months with my first, 3 months with the pregnancy that we lost and hopefully even a shorter amount of time for my next pregnancy. We are going to WDW in May, so maybe we will get some Disney Magic and we will conceive while we're there.

I am looking forward to getting to know all of you ladies. Way back in 2007 the support was fantastic and from breezing through some of the pages, it seems like a lot of the same! :goodvibes
