Good luck minnie! You can do it. My DH was sure I wouldn't be able to do it the first time, and I've done a ton now...The belly shots aren't that bad, and I actually prefer giving them myself (as opposed to having someone else do it). I think I'm a control freak and like being in control of the timing, the speed, etc.

BFN for me today. I'm on CD 36, and no AF in sight. I'm pretty sure I felt o-pain on CD 20-22, but DH & I were working opposite shifts that week and barely saw each other much less anything more. So I'm not surprised by the bfn, but I'm still disappointned.

I also want to know when the heck AF is going to show up so we can start on next month. Seriously it's day 36 already, and I used to be a normal 28 day girl. Why does TTC have to be so frustrating!

I used to be 28 days on the dot. Textbook O and AF. Then I got older and now I am all messed up. Sheesh!

*hugs* I'm sorry, Pollito. I'm seeing a BFN in my future too. I'm 7dpo, no aches, pains, sore ta-ta's.. nada. It's even more calm than my usual luteal phase.

Oddly, I felt a few sharp pains in my right ovary area this morning... but I already had a LH surge *over a week* ago. ::sigh:: I wish my body would sh*t or get off the pot with this ovulation thing. I'm just about to order my CBE sticks for next month, 12 sticks won't last me a whole cycle, I went through 18 of them this month. I remembered earlier I may possibly have one clomid refill. I just might get it filled. The desparate feeling is coming back. ::sigh:

AF showed up last night, so now I'm just waiting for 2010 to get here! Doesn't that always happen that it's right after I waste a PT?

Oh yep. That always happens to me. How annoying! I'm just waiting for AF myself. I probably have about 4-5 days to go too, or more. Yuck!

Well I did my shot last night! Once I stood up and was pointing that needle at my stomach my heart started to race! But I did it! It didn't hurt at all!!!! So glad that first shot is over with, so now I don't have to worry about it from now on. If anyone wants to see me doing my first injection I have it on photobucket. The sound isn't good because it was recorded with my picture camera.

Broke down this afternoon and tested 5 days early, BFN. Oh well, I'll try again in a couple of days.

I am trying so hard not to test today myself. I'm not sure how much longer I can hold out! I'm at 8dpo/cd31...my usual luteal phase is 12-13 days, I know I can't hold out till then! Maybe I'll try on Dec 26th, I don't wanna be sad on Christmas.

Well after my vent I managed to get through the last almost 2 weeks fairly okay. I did get with DH and we have a plan now. We are willing to do clomid for a couple more cycles, but I plan on making a doctor's appointment for after this cycle to either confirm pregnancy (fingers crossed) or to talk about my options going forward. Is IUI typically the next step after clomid alone? And if so how much does it cost (Insurance does not cover it)? We would be willing to try IUI if the doctor recommends it, but that's probably as far as we are willing to go. I plan on maxing out my flex plan this year to use on this journey so it isn't quite as financially painful, but I just know it isn't going to be any fun! Sorry about the BFN's.....I'm hopeful that all of us can finally get of this road sooner rather than later. I'm on CD 11 and will start using OPK's tomorrow. I just hate that TTC has become work. Hope everyone has a very merry Christmas.

You guys are cracking me up with the pregnancy tests. Since buying those come out of our spending budget, I ordered cheapos online with my opks too and I treat the few that I have like gold...I only test if for some reason I am convinced that I am pregnant...which is never. I did waste one on father's day because I thought it would be such a nice gift to surprise my husband with, but then I regretted wasting it. For me it is easier if AF just comes rather than a stick telling me first- it seems like one BFN instead of two
