Hi Ladies! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Our trip was fantastic! We LOVED AKL. It's probably our new favorite resort (we've stayed at GF, WL, S/D, ASMu). We were originally booked at POR, but when the discounts came out, we could either stay at POR for the same price, switch to CBR or CSR and save $600 or spend an extra $200 for a standard view room at AKL, so that's what we did. We checked in around midnight and were upgraded to a savannah view room! Now, we also had a view of the AKV construction, but I was thrilled since we paid for standard. I would have been upset with the view if we had paid for Savannah. We saw tons of animals every day. We were usually in the room napping (DH and DS, I don't nap because it makes me feel worse) around 4pm when they would bring out the food for the animals. It was funny watching them follow the food truck. The giraffe and zebra even stuck there heads in the back of the truck to try to get food! LOL! I wouldn't hesitate to go back to WDW during Thanksgiving. It was wonderful!

Sounds like you had a magical trip! How wonderful about the upgrade.
That new pic of your son is very cool. :cool2:

Love the new pic, Allison! What is he doing?

I'm mostly through with medication for the month. I did Femara days 3-7, Bravelle injections days 7-9 (once in a Bob Evans parking lot because getting back from my parents' house took so long), and did ovidrel injection today, day 10. I had to go in for an ultrasound today and I had 2-3 eggs that looked big enough, so the doctor told me to go ahead and trigger ovulation. We need to BD tonight and tomorrow night. I also have to start taking estrogen because my lining met the minimum requirement, but needed to be thicker. I start progesterone suppositories Friday. Fun.

For an awkward story, I took DH to the doctor with me today. He hadn't been in on any of the ultrasounds so far and I wanted him to see the eggs with me. So in the waiting room, I'm telling him he can wait in the hall while I get naked. He thought that was stupid, but I felt weird about it. When the nurse takes us down the hall, she shuts him in with me, so I just let him stay. I'm still not really sure where he was supposed to be. Oh well.

I haven't had much trouble with side effects, although I have noticed some changes. It depends on the day how well I do with the injections. The one today took me 2 jabs-and the one that didn't get any medicine is the one that bled! At least I'm done with needles for the month. I didn't even need blood work at my appointment today, which was kind of nice. I feel like a pin cushion!

Aurora...I know this doesn't mean much at all coming from me--a major lurker, hardly-ever poster--but I want you to know that I have been saying many prayers for you and your husband to conceive. It's probably very strange for you to know that people you don't know at all are sending thoughts your way, but I am thinking of you often, and hoping for the very best for you. :goodvibes

Thank you. It is very much appreciated.

LOL! He's laying down on one of those light-up sidewalk areas in Future World. During both of our night at Epcot, while waiting for the crowds to clear, he would run around and around on those light-up sidewalks. He loved those things for some reason!

Courtney, sounds like you've had quite a process to go through this month! I REALLY hope it works for you!!

We'll be making DH's followup appointment soon. :goodvibes

pixiedust: for the pincushion! We're all pulling for you so you don't have to endure this for long.

Only 12 days until my trip!!!!! :dance3: Need some good luck. Looks like the timing of the trip will be ideal for us - but nothing is ever "ideal" in this bizzaro world. :upsidedow

"I'm dreaming of a WDW souvenier"

Hi everyone! I haven't posted here in awhile, but I've been reading--glad to see there is some good news and sorry that we haven't had more. I hope everyone has a bountiful Christmas!

Allison - I love the picture of your son. We stayed at AKL in April and it was awesome. I agree it is one of our favorite resorts.

Kiki- Hope your trip was good! Let us know how your appointment goes today.

D&D - Pixie Dust for a little souvenier.

Aurora - Glad you are done with the shots for the month.

It is snowing here and the kids are on school delay for an hour. We got about eight inches of snow last night and it is cold. DS broke his upper arm a couple of weeks ago and it is not in a place where he can have a cast. It is just in a plastic brace and sling so now I am paranoid that he is going to slip and fall on the ice.

Is everyone done with their holiday shopping?

Hi Momsully!

We're getting snow too. Between 6-12 inches. Kids are home from school today.

Sorry to hear your DS broke his arm. Prayers that he doesn't fall or reinjure it.

Almost all shopping is done. Just some last minute stuff for DH that I haven't got. Wanted it all done before our trip. Hopefully the snow will hold off next week. Its been snowing every day since Dec. 1st - measurable snowfall not just a dusting. :headache: Enough already!!!

Hope everyone else is working on some "good news" to tell us soon. pixiedust: for all!!!!

Hey guys. I'm still in the TWW. I started my progesterone suppositories on Friday, and I get up for bathroom breaks so early in the night that they may end up having to put me on fast dissolving ones or something. I'm a little worried about that. Not sure if I mentioned it, but I had to go on estrogen pills because my lining wasn't overly thick. It just met the minimum requirement. I'm not sure if that's what is making me feel queasy (very minor) or if I'm pregnant. The girls are killing me. I called today because I was worried about the progesterone, so I'm going to give it one more try tonight, then try the other kind. I also have a cold, sinus, allergy thing, but they did say I could take claritin. Hopefully that will knock it out. She did say in the message that apparently I'm supposed to come in there for the test, so I'm not sure if I'm not supposed to POAS at home, or just wait. I know I can't do anything until Saturday at the earliest. Maybe it would be best to just go in there, but my work schedule is crazy since the kids are about to get out of school for 2 weeks.

Ugh, this is making me crazy (and making me ramble). One more try of just meds, then IUI....Ugh. I feel like so many things were fixed this time that it almost has to work.

Aurora - Fingers crossed for a positive test this weekend!

Aurora - I have my fingers crossed, and will be thinking of you! This really should be your month!

Skuttle - I love the new picture of your son. That's great you had a good trip!

D&D - Best of luck for a Disney souvenir! That makes me think of that commercial with the family on the elevator "Mommy calls him their little souvenir".

I've still been reading here and keeping up on everyone. This thread is way overdue for some more good news!

I can't believe how close it's getting to Christmas. I still have a lot more shopping to do, and I have our first Christmas celebration with my brother, sis-in-law, nephew and dad's side of the family this weekend. I have to have all their gifts bought and wrapped for Sunday. I'm not ready!

Well I am home. Disney was great.
Bad news on the baby front....
on the second day of our trip I started spotting which progressed through the week and got worse. Last night I passed our baby...sorry to be graphic.
I had to put on my happy face all week for my family and now that we are home reality is setting in.
The only good news in this is it seems that I have miscarried naturally this time. I have another appt. with the doctor next Thursday just to make sure. He said we don't have to wait and we can start again right away. I'll wait til I get my period and then do the Clomid thing.
Argh. I am so angry at my body.
I did some reading and have started Vit B12 supplements today. It may make a difference for baby making/pregnancy and it could help my MS. It's worth a shot.
So I will be hanging out with you girls again....hopefully all of our stays will be short.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for you Aurora. You've been through so much. It's time for some good news around here.

Kiki - I am so sorry.

It happend to me, too (naturally, before my ectopic) and it was terrible. Did you have blood work done this time? I ended up needing progesterone to help me get through the first few weeks.

Denae

I didn't have Progesterone tested but I will insist on it for next time. There is going to be a next time right girls?

I started taking Vit B12 yesterday as my level was on the lower end when it was tested in May. It may help my MS and it may help with fertility and pregnancy. It can't hurt.

Thanks for the kindness...it REALLY means a lot to me.
