Perhaps we can take all of the FUD threads (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) everywhere on the DIS and move them here. Of course, then there might not be be anything left for any of the other boards!

No I started it here. If you read the original post, it was a simple question about if opting out of the scanner opened you up to additional screening besides the pat down. I think that is a transportation question, no?

Yes, of course, but I hope the Rules aren't to be applied retroactively to messages that were posted before the thread was moved to a new board.

I could'a swore this started as a Community Board thread. Perhaps there is another thread I'm thinking of.

Anyway, your point is well-taken of course and I agree with you completely.

This is my issue with the new scanners. I'm not near exciting enough to worry about anyone saving my picture, but I worry about putting my children in such a position. They're still young, but I'm supposed to be protecting them and I feel like I'm having to choose the lesser of 2 evils.
