The pork chop dinner would be $10.79. I may be wrong, isn't that competitive with off-property restaurants?
I agree with you, there Magicbus, if you took 40% off the prices, that would be in line with what you might expect to pay for these offerings off property.
That just shows how ridiculous these prices are.
Really, what are they thinking?
The Fort is full of campers and cabin-dwellers with full kitchens.
Who is going to drop that kind of money for lunch?
I forgot to post the children's menu.
Here you go, folks:
Kid's choice - Choice of fruit cup, garden salad. Macaroni and Cheese or Cheeseburger. Ice cream sundae or Chocolate chip cookies. - $8.59
Kids' complete meal - Grilled fish of the day. includes whole grain pilaf, veggies and fruit. served on Mickey plate - $8.59
Kids' complete meal - Grilled chicken strips, served with macaroni topped with marinara and mozzarella. with veggies and fruit salad - $8.59
Oy!
Nine bucks for a kid's meal?
And note, it doesn't say anything about a drink being included.
So, ten bucks to feed a kid lunch?
In a campground restaurant?
What the Fort?
The only reason that I can think of that they would do this is the Dining Plan.
By charging exorbitant prices, they make the cost of the Dining Plan look reasonable.
But, this just shows how the Dining Plan is not a good deal. Maybe with the Dining Plan, you are paying just a little more than a fair price for the food. So how is that a deal?
And, who in their right mind would pay these prices?
So, at best, they will only be serving people on the Full Service Dining Plan.
How many FW guests are on the Full Service Dining Plan?
This is just plain stupid!
They have to pay the staff for this restaurant.
And, they will lose money.
I guess they don't care?
