new tour at DCA

I'm confused how lunch would be served at this restaurant. Isn't it just a Starbuck's? I was hoping for a better dining option during a paid tour.

It was good when it first opened and they served fresh sandwiches. I think everything is just prepackaged now though isn't it? I agree with you, I'm curious what they will offer.

It's just a quick lunch. The lunch for WIWDF is from Jolly Holiday. Not sure there's much of a difference. I think of the KTTK at MK. That lunch is at Columbia Harbor House, which IMO is one of the worst QS restaurants in all of WDW. But I consider lunch on these cheaper tours to be an added value. Nothing more.

Thanks for posting those! My friend and I shouldnt have asked about pictures...cause then we were told No..but as we were leaving we saw others just snapping away, so I think the CM didn't know and just said no to be safe. I found it such a lovely retreat..once you step in...as with Carthay, you feel like you aren't in a theme park, but transported to an elegant past.

I'm going on the 20th. I am really looking forward to this tour :)

When I took the Cultivating the Magic tour when it first opened, I chatted with a tour guide named Tyler (he's since moved up), and he told me they were working on this one. So, it's been in the works for awhile now.
I know a DIS Diva who went on what I suspect was the "Let's see if people will do this" tour about a year ago.

This is the Original Snow White in German - if you stand in front of it longer than 60 seconds an alarm goes off!
Never had that happen...

I liked the animated drawings they had in there last year. Sadly, they were removed earlier this year. But loved watching Snow White and Mickey come to life.

Fiddler Fifer and Practical Cafe had this great salami sandwich :thumbsup2
(although someone described it as a "salt lick" :lmao: )
