Hello,

I'm new. I have a 4 and 8 year old. We went to Disneyland this spring while visiting family; the kiddos first disney experience. They had a great time. We just decided to take the kids to Disneyworld next spring and so I'm starting to plan.

This will also be my first time! (And DH's!)

I was lucky to have been to Disneyland a handful of times as a child and in my twenties so I felt like I had an idea of what I was doing planning that trip. Holy cow does Disneyworld seem different!! I am so thankful this board exists!

We are tied to Spring Break to go, and I thought it would be too expensive, but then I saw that off site might be doable. We did some very rough estimates and it's a go!

I know I will learn a lot and hope to be able to help others.

Welcome! I did Disneyland during Spring Break two years in a row - 2011 and 2012. Both times we did the Tuesday and Wednesday before Easter. And we stayed offsite both times.

Honestly, I was so scared that it was going to be terribly crowded, and it was not bad at all. Sure, there were long lines at the thrill rides. But we got to the parks at rope drop and were able to see and do everything we wanted to.

Hop on over to the DL forum to ask any questions you want!

Your kids will be such a fun age for WDW! Have a wonderful trip!
