Hi Everyone!

We are heading to Universal on June 7, 8 OR 9 and then we'll have the morning there on the 10th (got some 2 park, 2day plus 1 free day tickets) and are staying at the Loews Royal Pacific. The family consists of me, my husband, DD 14, DS 12 and DS 8. All are thrill ride lovers, although the DD doesn't like big hills.

We've been to IOA once and managed Wiz World pretty well in the early AM and late eve. We'll definitely want to do the FJ at least once, but maybe not many other of the things there. Other than that, we know we love the Jurassic Park ride, and that is kind of all we got to! Our one day there was crowded and once out of Wizarding World we didn't do much.

So, I would love to have a better plan this time. Can you guys suggest any resources, along with responses on the forum? I am a planner and love to have an idea of what attractions we want to hit, and a good strategy for getting to them.

Thanks so much!
TS
PS. DD 8 is a HUGE Transformers fan...hope we get on a "technical rehearsal"...glad to read some info here!

IOA is pretty easy to me cause it is a circle with a lake in the center, you can't really cross cross with out a huge effort. I start at HP then head to Jurassic park and then continue riding my way around thru Suess. Then we usually change parks. I love the water rides best so I stay in the Jurassic park and Toon area for a while. I like to come back to HP & the water rides before close also.

Yup - just follow the ride progression per park layout

IOA

FJ
Dragons (Fantastic)
JP River Ride
Popeye
Ripsaw
Spidey
Hulk (Fantastic)
Acceletron

Ditto for US. I'd do early entry if they have it for Transformers and then work around the park

Transformers
Despicable Me
RRR - has one of those ascents your daughter (and I) dislike though.
Shrek - eh, not a fan personally
The Mummy (Fantastic)
MIB
Simpsons
ET

Horror make up show might be fun - good break to get out of the heat.
I think Twister and the other near that? Disaster? It's been so long, are not really worth the time. I'd rather do the rides more than once myself.

Since you are staying onsite and will have unlimited Express, just tour as you want...there is no need for a plan. Try to eat during off peak times to keep the lines shorter.
