new to this pin thing...help please?!

I'm hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. On our last trip to WDW my son started doing some pin trading. And of course the first pin he traded...he ended up losing. He still talks about the pin and I would like to try to find another one to buy for him, but I have no idea where to look for it. We looked everywhere we could while at the World, but were unable to locate another. I guess I'm looking for some sites that might list pins w/ the pics so I'd know if it is the correct pin or not. Being really new to all this pin stuff, I have no idea where to begin. Thanks to anyone who can help!

Try going to www.pinpics.com and do a search. If it's a Mickey then of course, you need to put Mickey Christmas or Mickey surfing or Mickey and some other word describing what he was doing. I hope this gives you an idea.

If you can describe it here, we might be able to help too. Also, you might look on eBay for the pin. Sometimes, you can ge lucky there too. Good Luck! Maggie

I would bet if you gave a brief description someone here might help narrow it down.

Pinpics has over 250 pages and some searches bring up 249 of them.

Thanks, I will give searching a try then. And I have to admit...I'm and Ebay virgin too LOL, however, my brother is on there all the time, I'll just enlist his help in this. I stink at giving descriptions (that's why my family never likes having me on their teams when we play games that need descriptions ) The only real thing I can remember about the pin is that it was from Robin Hood. It had two or three characters on it. Robin, and hmmm I think Little John, but I can't remember who else. I know I would know it if I saw it though. I guess I'm off to search. Thanks for the help. And if I'm successful, you've helped make one 10 yr old boy very very happy. Thanks!

It came out in November, so if that fits your least trip's timetable...

Even though it's a limited edition of 2500, you'll likely be able to find someone with one for trade.

Thanks for the help. I think we've found the correct pin w/ the help of DS...kind of spoiled the surprise element though. but the pin is the Magical Musical Moments - Oo De Lally. Now I just have to figure out this trading online thing.
