HI Everyone,
I am new to the boards. I started posting a few days ago so I figured I would add a post here as well.
My wife and I have a 2.5 year old and our next trip is in one week, July 12-19.
We live in Boynton Beach, FL, so we are able to go pretty often.
We first took our daughter on my wife's first Mother's Day, when our daughter was only 4 months old. It was more of a meet some friends type of trip, but we do have great pictures of my daughter with some characters and enjoying her first ice pop. But then we took our daughter last October when she was 20 months old, and she absolutely loved it. She ran up and hugged the characters, posed for pictures, and even tackled Stitch. And she loves the rides too. She will definitely be a thrill rider when she gets older, and since she is pretty tall to begin with, it won't be too far away.
Since that October trip we have been back every two months (annual passholders), including December 2010, February 2011 and April 2011. We are looking very forward to next Sunday when we head to Orlando again.
We have yet to stay onsite (my wife did as a kid) as I have always had tons of Marriott points. We really like the 2 bedroom Marriot Vacation Club rooms. But I am pretty much out of points, so after this trip we will be looking to stay onsite. I am leaning to the AK Resort, Wilderness Lodge or the Beach Club.
I hope I am able to add as much as I gain from this board.
