New to the boards and to FW Camping!

He's getting it- he just has to wait until next years tax return- he spent this one on the golf cart, lift kit, tires, rims, lights, battery to run the lights, custom paint job, custom windshield......... oh and the ramps to get the dang thing up in the truck!

Never believe him when he claims to be deprived or cheated out of anything!!! He is more spoiled than my kids are- heck, he's more spoiled than my DOGS are- and thats saying something

Man I didn't get the cart lifted enough for how deep it is getting in here.

No one tops you dogs!!!!!!

She is going to kill me for that one.

Just to let everyone know... Taz aka Matt my oh so lovely Husband will not be on for a while - he is recovering from a mysterious illness that just happened to coincide with the dinner he just ate....

I would put the parents up at a hotel if it was me (Gaylord Palms is only 99.00 a night). Who wants to sleep with so many people in one pop up lol. Welcome again - Whip

Ours is just a regular pop up- though its really roomy- at least when compared to our tent anyway The boys are still small so it shouldnt be too bad- I really just want to see if my mother will actually stay at the campground!!! I was explaining to her the entire shower situation- I thought she fainted!!!

My dad is an easy going kinda guy- but my mom, much as i love her- she needs those 5 star comforts... some of Taz's friends were gonna rent tuxes as a joke and knock on the camper door saying room service- but I managed to talk them out of it

I'll never forget the first time we played paintball and I picked the boys up from her house in full camo and a bandanna over my ponytail- complete with combat boots... she took one look at Matt and said- What have you done to our Princess??? She was white as a sheet... I couldnt stop laughing!!!

Odds are the parents will end up in a nice cushy hotel... truthfully- I think even if i had a million dollar rig- which unless by some miracle i hit the lottery I never will- she would still prefer a hotel... she is not the "outdoorsy" type at all... me, I'm a sun worshiping camping fool... as soon as it warms up a little more, we'll probably be out camping every weekend... though I must say, I am looking forward to my trips to the Fort over any other camping trip cause it ixes my favorite things in life- Disney, Camping and Fun!!!

OK Tigger, I have to ask: how long have you been in FL from NJ? Long enough to experience the souths lovely heat and humidity?

I know from Louisiana, there are many days during the summer that I think to myself, "boy, am I glad I'm not camping right now!"

Let Taz have some fun It's not everyday that both spouses enjoy being on these boards!

We've been in FL for a year now... though we havent camped anywhere in the summer yet- our preferred camping timeframe was usually the fall up in the Pocono Mts before we moved down here and now have a camper too

I know it may seem like I'm being rough on Taz- but in all honesty- we're just messing around with each other and enjoying sharing this together- we just tease and joke around alot- sometimes it takes some getting used to especially for ppl who have never technically met us yet

Girl....you aint gotta 'splain nuttin!!! We're all married and know very well that its the man's job to complain about how tough the "ol'broad of a wife" is!!! And its the wifes job to "allow us" to act like the immature morons that we all are!!! In all honesty, I wish my wife woauld participate on the boards, she's missing out on alot of fun and stupidity!!! She's met some of the folks here, but because she's not an active DISers, its not the same for her to meet people from here as it is for me...I feel like I know these people better than I know people I work with or most of my family!!!

We're gonna give you guys a hard time, but take it in stride...we wouldnt screw with ya if we didnt think ya'll were worth screwing with!!! You'll understand soon.
