As the title says, we have always flown with Jetblue. Does SWA give free non alcholic drinks on there flights? Also do they serve snacks for free? Want to make sure if not that I have snacks for the kids and buy drinks prior to boarding our flight. Thanks inadvance for the informaton. Can't find this info on there web site:)

Yes, they have soda and water and most likely juices availabe that are complimentary. They do have snacks but they really aren't all that big. I would get what the kids needed before boarding, as far as edibles go.

You can always request extra snacks too. Ds13 was on a a "no fast food" kick and wouldn't eat in the airport with the rest of us. Of course he was starving on the plane and ate 3 packs of cheeze its.
The flight attendants are very generous if you ask for extra.

Occasionally if I'm really thirsty, I have requested the whole can of soda too. They still give me the cup of ice but I can refill it too.

:thumbsup2

Thank you all for the information. I couldn't find the menu on the website, so thanks "lost in cyberspace". Now I at least know that I don't rally need to bring drinks with us. I will though bring extra snacks for the kids. We have never flown this long before. Thanks again:yay:

I'm not surprised - SWA's website search function is terrible and their website really isn't that user friendly when you are trying to find specific information; it took me a few minutes to find the menu myself.

My last two trips have been on Southwest. I am a firm believer in their customer service! They were polite, smiled, said Hello and Thank You, and almost all of our flights took off on time and landed early. I say almost all of them because they were kind enough to wait a few extra minutes to depart once to allow a couple flying in and connecting with our flight time to get onto our flight. Their flight in to Orlando was delayed due to weather from wherever they were flying from. Personally I thought that was great because every other flight I've ever been on would have just taken off without them. We still managed to land a few minutes earlier than scheduled too.
