New to Site

Hi everyone i am new to this site

My name is karen i am getting married in September 10, 2004
I am going on my honeymoon September 11, 2004 to September 23, 2004 I right now looking for some nice hotels to stay at i wanted to stay on a resort but i rather spend the money on something fun. I really don't know how to spend my 11 days is disney, such as what are the best hotels, where to eat, and of course the best parks, and which one's should i avoid. I want to do as much as possible, when at disney.

Welcome Karen and congrats.

If you really want to stay at a Disney Resort, I would suggest that you check out Mousesavers.com and see if there are any codes listed as you get closer to your date (they wouldn't be listed at this point since you are over a year away). In the meantime, you could get feedback on offsite hotels that you might like to stay at.

Having done a honeymoon at Disney, I would suggest trying to stay onsite at least part of the time. It really does add some magic to it. I stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort and found it very romantic at night. But there are a lot of other resorts that offer some romantic settings.

There is a lot to do at Disney to fill up your whole stay, but there is also a lot to do offsite such as Sea World, Universal, and even Busch Gardens if you don't mind driving the hour over to Tampa.

You will find the DIS has a lot to offer on the various boards. If you haven't already, you might want to drop in at the Theme Park Planning Board, Resort Board and Resturant boards also.

Hope you get lots of tips for your honeymoon...it is such a special event.
