New to Sea World - Have AP (silver)questions?

We recieved silver passports for the whole family for Christmas for Sea World and Busch Gardens this past Christmas. Does anyone know if they are good from the date of purchase or when we turn in the paper we got at the gate to get the passes? This will be our first trip to Fl that we are not doing Disney so this is all new to us.

They're good from the day you turn in the voucher. Silver passports are great. We had them last year for Sea World.
