New to renting!!

Hi

I'm currently looking to book my honeymoon in * and have been looking at renting points.

I think I just about get how it all works but can someone please point me in the right direction as to how you know how many points are needed for each hotel etc?

Also can points be used at any DVC hotel or are the points specific to a certain hotel?

There are charts in this link as well as a Calculator for how many points you would need.

At this point you are within the 7 month window so the points would be valid during that time for any of the hotels.

There is a lot of information about renting points at the Rent/Trade board on this site that can explain renting.

There is also a points chart at the top that shows what you would need for the DVC resorts. While you can use points at the other Disney Hotels, it is very point expensive, plus you pay an additional $95.00 fee. It would probably be cheaper to just book those the regular way.

But, you are going to find that most things DVC are already booked. Your options for resorts will be very limited and most likely, your choices will be down to SSR or OKW (those resorts are bigger).
