New to Pin trading- question about a pin I saw...

I am new to trading pins, I only have a few. But I was at the Official Disney Pin Trading site and I saw this festival of the masters pin and I fell in love with it. It was from a few years ago, and I was just wondering if there is anyway of getting those pins while I am down there in July? Does anyone know of any stores down there that would sell pins from past festival of the masters? Thanks for any help you can give!!

Festival of the Masters occurs late November. Like the Epcot Flower and Garden show, Star Wars Weekends, and Epcot Food and Wine Festival, things sold associated with it are only sold when the event is in full swing. So, sorry to disappoint you, but you won't find it anywhere. Your best bet is to try to trade for it on pinpics, or at DTD pin traders, or pin trading nights @ the Contemporary or All Star.

The early Fesival pins (1997, 1998, 1999) are very rare and would be difficult to get in trade. From 2000 on, they are much more available and can be traded for or purchased (eBay). All Festival pins are limited edition so they sell out during or right after the art show concludes.

Do adults do the pin trading as well or is this mainly just a kid thing? Also do they have a special one for honeymooners at DTD? Thanks

I would say that it is fairly even between kids and adults, maybe a little more adults than kids.

I am looking for the 2003 festival of the masters pin. I am hoping if I continue to check Ebay I can find it there, or possibly someone trading it while I am down there in July, however I am just starting my collection and won't have much to offer for trade. If anyone knows of any other places where I can get this one, I would love it!
