new to OKW Can you rent golf clubs ?

we are trying to rent points for this resort in September. DS likes golf, but does not want to take his own to WDW. Can you rent or borrow them there ?

Yes you can, the 18 hole courses will only rent you a full set ( nice clubs as well) Oak Hill Trail (the executive 9 hole walking course ) you can rent a half set (still decent clubs) for considerably cheaper.

Problem with playing in Sept is that the afternoons are almost always stormy, thereby making playing on "twilight rate" almost impossible. Given the regular cost of the Disney courses PLUS renting clubs I doubt you'll see much change (if any) from $150 for the round plus clubs. There are a lot of local clubs that you would be able to get a much better deal that even if you don't have a car it would be cheaper to take a taxi to their course and back and still come in less than the Disney cost. If you look into the DVC golf membership it starts to break even at about 5 rounds of golf, if he's going to play 5 times or more, then he's going to be better served taking his own clubs JMHO.

The summer price-slice special goes through 9/25 this year. Great discounts if you don't mind teeing off after 10:00am. After 3:00, through 9/25, it's only $30 at all courses, but like the PP said, you have to deal with the possibility of rain.
