My 180 is in a few days and Im trying to get my list together for dining reservations. Since we've been so many times to WDW, I like to change it up with our dining venues.

Places Ive never been, and considering for this next trip...

Garden Grill (should I pick a repeat World Showcase restaurant instead?)

Bomas (dinner. We tried for breakfast our last trip and loved it, but Im ot a huge fan of Tusker House or Yak and Yeti, so Im a little hesitant about booking here)

Captains Grill

Whispering Canyon (not a huge fan of Tex-Mex. Are there other good options?)

Brown Derby (not really planning to go to DHS this trip. Last time, fall 2015, everything was practically closed, but is this worth a trip to walk around a bit and have lunch?)

Any other, not very common, good restaurant suggestions? Im on the deluxe plan for a week. Seafood is out!

Thanks!

We loved Garden Grill when we tried it years ago! Super yummy and great character interaction! We also enjoyed Boma, but we like to try different things.

We really like the Sci-Fi Diner, if you haven't eaten there it is a fun experience.

I have never tried 50's Prime Time Diner at HS. Have you tried that one?

Happy Planning!

I'm here now and have had some great meals. My picks:

Yak and Yeti
The Plaza
Via Napoli
Splitsville
Olivia's

We love breakfast at Boma and Cape May.

Beaches and Cream is fun. Same with Sci Fi

If you are wondering about the menus, remember to go to AllEars.net. Up to date menus for every restaurant, kiosk, you name it, complete with prices. There, you will see, like the other options at Whispering Canyon.

Boma is very good but maybe not for the non-adventurous type. They do have plenty of not so strange eats though!

Our favorites:
Kona, excellent every time. Don't hear a lot but its great, desserts are some of the best.
Wave, another often overlooked gem.
San Angel Inn, great atmosphere and excellent food. Not for those expecting traditional MX food you'd find at home.

Thanks! I will give Garden Grill a try! We went to Sci Fi last year for lunch. Unique atmosphere, but I wasnt crazy about the food. The dessert was to die for though! We went to 50's PT a million times. We actually switched that one for the Sci Fi last year. My husband will only agree to go to Disney if we are not doing the same things over and over again!

We have Beaches and Cream on our list! Cape May too since we are staying at the Yacht Club. I LOVE the Plaza and Via Napoli, which was a first for us last year. Definitely going back this time too! Never heard of Splitsville. Ill have to check that out! Thanks.

Weve been to Wave and Kona losts of times! San Angel Inn is my #1 hands down favorite in all of WDW. Clearly we have the same tastes, so any more suggestions would be great! Thanks
