OK, so it might seem like a dumb question but, are the sofa beds in the studios comfortable??? and is there cups or silverware on the small kitchenettes in the studios??

Next week we are heading down to BCV for a night and AKL for 6. Do they help you move your luggage, from one to the other??:confused3

favorite DVC pool for 5 and 13 Y/O???
:woohoo:

Thanks so much for any answers i am just soooo lost!

Use years??? whats really the advantage?? I have June UY....

We are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited:banana: we can't wait to go HOME!

Studios will have paper plates & bowls and plastic utensils.

Bell Services will transfer luggage between resorts. The morning you check-out, call bell services to have them pick up the luggage from the room. Tell them which resort you are moving to. Your luggage will be available at the new resort after about 4pm. You will need to call bell services to have the luggage delivered to the room. You will have to be in the room for both pickup and delivery.

I would think your children will find the pull out sofabed fairly comfortable. Some adults do not care for them, but younger people should be fine since they are smaller.

There will be disposable paper products in your studios' kitchenettes.

You will be sampling two of the most popular DVC resort pools - Stormalong Bay and the Uzima pool at AKV. I would say Stormalong Bay is probably the most popular amongst the younger set.

Enjoy your trip! :)

Thank you sooooooooooooooooooooo much!!!!

I am sure we will have a great time:woohoo: doing the happy dance:yay::cheer2:

the short answer is that it tells you 2 things: 1) when your pts are valid for stays (a june UY means that your 2010 pts are valid from june 1, 2010 to may 31, 2011) and 2) that your banking window closes at the end of january.

UY has nothing to do with when you can call to book obviously. it only becomes an issue if you have to cancel - if you book a trip late in your UY (such as a trip for may), then you may run into trouble being past your banking window with only a short period of time to adjust your plans without losing your pts.

Having a UY that begins just prior to your typical travel offers a lot of flexibilty for what you can do with points if you ever have to cancel or want to change a trip.

You can only bank your current UY points during the first 8 months of the UY. When you travel near the beginning and have to cancel or change, you will still be able to bank those points.

If a reservation uses banked or borrowed points and you have to cancel or change, it gives you a long time to re-book before your UY ends and those points expire.

Have a wonderful trip!

The paper products in the studios may not be enough for you family. Normally we have found no more than 4-6 sets of plasticware and 4-6 paper bowls, now we have had times with more plates but it seems to be that if I have extra plates it was becuase the last family didn'tuse them and housekeeping just added a stack on top. That won't be a big deal for you at BCV but if you are planning even just breakfast daily in the studio you won't have enough before they are replenished on day 4.

There are also 4 glasses and 4 mugs in a studio that are glass.
