I just closed on my first contract. I paid my 2023 dues at closing. When do I pay dues again? The dues due in January are for 2024 I’m guessing?

Yes Dues are calendar based. Due in Jan

You can set up to have them auto taken out monthly so you don’t have a big dues bill at the end of every year.

Just to add to this good advice:

We pay with gift cards that we purchase at our local grocery store chain (Giant Eagle). We get 2% back in Mickey bucks (Disney visa) and get 10 cents off per $50 spent on per gallon of gas. It's not a ton of savings, but every little bit helps and it does add up. Lots of people do the Target red card deal as well for 5% off gift cards. You just need to make sure you go online and pay each month prior to the withdrawal.

BJ’s sells the gift cards at a discount online too…usually ~6% off face ($470 for a $500 gift card) but occasionally they’ll have them more discounted than that. They send them in the mail which can be a little bit of a security concern but so far I haven’t had an issue with hem.

You can pay early anytime - the payment will sit in your account as a a credit until the actual dues are due.
