New to Disneyland!

Hello Friends! WDW vet here--been 15+ times. But we have NEVER been to Disneyland. We are planning a trip for March 2015. I usually travel with my mom and my son, but my mom is sitting this one out. We have been doing our homework, and I have a TA helping me. We are going to stay at Camelot and we have 4 day park hoppers. I really want to make the most out this trip. Is 4 days enough???

We really need info on Dining options. We were thinking of Ariel's for World of Color Package (we usually do the Fantasmic! package at WDW). DS will be 19 when we go. At WDW we usually do one sit down a day, but I've read that things are so different at DL. Any thoughts would be helpful!! TIA!

Four days should be enough. Four days is the recommended minimum at DLR for a solid visit. It will feel roughly like a 7-8 day visit to WDW.

Be aware of the possibility of a higher than average number of refurbs during that time. See

You can certainly do Table Service dinners all four days, and you needn't stress about your Priority Seating reservations (DLR's version of ADRs) too much. You ought to be able to find availability a couple of weeks out, and often even the same day if you're flexible with your seating times.

On the other hand, since DLR is more laid back and invites you to follow your nose more, a sit-down meal every evening might feel limiting. Counter service is much better at DLR than WDW, and definitely worth considering as a dinner option on one or some of your nights. There is no "Columbia Harbor House AGAIN?" feeling in Disneyland, I promise
