New to DIS

Good Morning everyone! I am very very new to DIS so any help you guys could give me would be awesome!
We were just informed yesterday we are getting a free vacation from my hubby's company and we picked DISNEY WORLD!!! I have never been before, my hubby has...we also have a 2 1/2 year old daughter who will be coming with us of course!! I believe we are looking at going in October so any info you could give me would be great!
