New to DDP. Simple question.

Table service allows one entree, one desert and a beverage as I understand it. Can you exchange a desert for an appetizer?

Not for an app that's on the menu. Most restaurants will let you get a cup of soup, side salad, or extra vegetable. If there is a cheese plate on the menu, they'll usually allow that too.

Some of the TS restaurants will let you substitute something for the dessert. It will be something the restaurant has already chosen - typically a cup of soup, a small side salad or possibly an additional veggie side. You will have to ask at each restaurant because not all of them will have this option.
