New Ticket scanning system

I was wondering what everyone thought of the new ticket scanning ("tapping") system that they were testing out at EPCOT this week (parking lot side).

To me it appeared to have a lot less "misses" and allowing families to enter in "batches" (of 4) was a big plus.

The throughput appeared to be much higher, even though no one was familiar with it yet.

I had no idea RFID devices had gotten that small (what appears to be under the sticker that they added to my AP is maybe 1/4 the size of a grain of sand).
My guess is that it will close to double the trough put once everyone is familiar with it (assuming they adopt it), while reducing the number of CMs required.
If would mainstream entry for most individuals with disabilities, as well as making the process strollers and people of size much more seamless.
I suspect that this solves or reduces some of the problems of the higher powered wrist band RFID, such as privacy (big brother)and ID theft since if appears that the card needs to be within an inch or 2 to work.
