After much deliberation we have finally put a deposit on a holiday to florida, we will be staying at Disney's Old Key West for 2 weeks in October 2012. Booked through Charter Travel 2 adults including flights, accom, park tickets, care hire & DDP £3569.
I think that is a pretty good price. I broke everything down looked at booking everything indiviually but it was cheaper for us to go with Charter Travel.
We would be wasting money as we want to visit some non-disney parks. The idea of staying on I-drive initally sounds good everything nearby, but it's so rundown and busy it made me feel uneasy also having to do all the driving and paying for parking/food at disney wasn't making me get excited. We then found Caribe Cove (sister resort to Bahama Bay) which we liked the look of but we would need to pay for alot of petrol as it was near Davenport and away from all the restaurants/diners/shops/parks and it wasn't that cheap (£800ish for two weeks). When you way it all up you don't save that much staying offsite not with the current offers from disney (free DDP and 48% off accom)
