Here's a new company who look destined to make a big splash (pardon the pun) in the Theme Parks business, for ALL theme parks around the world. www.themeparkholidays.com are the brainchild of the former Disney head of sales & marketing in the UK and I like the look of their website. Take a peek and tell me what you think....................

Thanks for the link. I would also like to say thanks for the wonderful guide books - the Orlando one, of course, but also the cruising guide which I recently lent to some friends who had never been cruising before and they found it invaluable. ( I know I should have suggested that they buy it, but it was a spur of the moment thing!!)

Anyway, it's really nice to be able to thank you personally.

:D Simon - just had a quick 5 mins flip through the site and must say I thought it looked quite impressive. Quite easy to use and understand the site - and quite comprehensive in what they're offering.

Also thought their explanations of the parks, different areas to stay were useful. Very much like you'd expect from a travel agent's brochure, but much easier to see online.

So far so good, I'd say:D However, what the prices are, I haven't explored that yet

I haven't explored the site properly yet but thought I'd try out their Ticket Genie and am not impressed - I said I'd spend 8 days in Orlando and selected WDW, Universal and Sea World as parks I wanted to visit - the Genie suggested I buy Unlimited Magic Passes!!! The passes haven't been called UMPs for some while, and what happened to my visit to the Universal Parks and Sea Wolrd? And based on 8 days with my park choice, I'd think a 4 Day Park Hopper would suit best.
However, I hope I'm not being unfair - I haven't explored the rest of the site yet.

Good spot, Shirley. Keep working it!

PS: You're welcome Bexx. Thanks for your kind words.

I posted a message about this 2 weeks ago, looks like no one took any notice

Anyway, I can't say i'm that impressed with the company, I think i'll just stick to doing all the planning myself, much more fun! ;)

Oh Barnsey I had a look after your recommendation - sorry I didn't say anything at the time ;)

I just thought another travel company whose gonna charge me more for my package than I can get myself - cynical I know - I'll wait and see what quotes they can get me.

Shirley I did the ticket genie as well and I wasn't impressed - I figure I should apply for a job with them (there's a job I WOULDN'T mind) and maybe their info would be better ;)

Sorry Barnsey. Just plain didn't see it. Good work, though.

Just a quick *bump*. I'm seeing this company next week and it would be handy to have any up-to-date feedback about them.

Ta.
