Now that the renewed Test Track has opened I thought it would be interesting to poll what people thought of the change.

I liked the 2.0 version, I’ll reserve judgement until I actually ride the ride. POV footage generally does rides a disservice.

I will miss the design studio it was a fun way to waste 10 minutes of line time.

I tried booking a LL at 7am sharp this morning for next week and Test Track was already all out. Looks like its popular!

It was pretty popular befroe they changed it out... not a lot of "rides" at Epcot, and some folks find some of them a little too rough or scary. Some I know won't do Soaring because of the height, some won't do Mission because it a little claustrophobic. And a few love Guardians, but it make them a little to queasy. Then there are a couple of old rides that are just boring....

Even before the change over, I think TT was starting to Remy on where folks went to EE (think Remy's much higher ride capacity make it easier to do later). While TT tendance to go down, make it a do it while you can. Hope the refurb has fixed that.

World of Motion was mostly about the history of transportation as I recall and seemed like it was time for a refresh. Test Track was intended to give a flavor of the types of things that take place during the development of a new vehicle. Haven't ridden this newest iteration, but the videos seem more like it is about the future of transportation. Not sure if people will think that is good/bad, but clearly a different focus. Glad they have eliminated designing your own car since it seemed pointless and just another place to queue before getting on the ride. As I recall, no matter how long it took you to design your car, you still waited in the same line as everyone else.

Never saw world of motion, have not looked at what the new version looks like. Seems I rode a couple of different versions of Test Track over the last 25 years. I have skipped it for at least the last 10 years, felt it was not worth the wait. I may try the new version but only if it has a decent SR line.
