A friend posted on her facebook how her kids were ready to go back to school because one of them said her sister was getting on her "nerds" . They are little (kindergarten, first grade).

Between the baby being set somewhere and the dog about to be spaded, I'm afraid I'm going to have to call both CPS and the ASPCA.

I love this thread. And it's not difficult grammar and spelling either... it's elementary school material. And while I understand people have trouble with it, they shouldn't have trouble with the spell-checker. This is a forum where one types, all anyone sees of you is your words. Why not make them sound good?

LOL We talk a lot around our city about the crappy job the public schools are doing, and sometimes with good reason. But it seems it's not just the public schools that need to improve. I received a freecycle post in my email the other day from an insert internationally acclaimed private school name here educator who was looking for items for some "contenient boxes" she was making for her class. She used the term three times in her post, and I was curious as to what a "contenient box" actually was, so I googled it (of course). Google said:

Showing results for continent box. Search instead for contenient box

Had she mispelled the word once, I would have assumed it was a typo, but she mispelled the word continent three times in one short paragraph.
