New test required for free dining

If Refrigerators are R E F R I G E R A T O R S...

Then why are all the swaps, fridge swaps ???

Where did that "D" come from??? :rotfl2:

I have been forever wondering this. :upsidedow

"Kungaloosh!"
But I like Coke...

sure good idea...and you cant get into epcot if you say the surface of spaceship earth is covered in tiny cubes. funny i thought spelling and shape lessons were free in this country but i guess not. :confused3

But punctuation and capitalization are not? :confused3:laughing:

Its too bad you didn't get free dinning...

You have to love the english language with its random extra letters and/or missing letters.

I don't think this applies. Nobody is correcting anybody (well, until maybe this quoted post :confused3?). The OP and a subsequent poster are simply making general observations about two too-common misspellings. No specific person is being cited or corrected.

Other common mix-ups are (and they all bug me!) Reading these mix-ups is like nails on a chalkboard for me.:rotfl2::
their and there
your and you're

The two that drive me nuts are people writing "wonder" instead of "wander" and people calling it a "mute point" rather than a "moot point".

Sayhello

wah-la has to be on that list too, no?

Great news! I can't spell and I'm trying to "loose" weight.

Just kidding, but last spring I wrote several restaurant reviews on TripAdvisor and consistently misspelled "Reuben." Oops!

:)

Maybe try out for the Biggest "Looser".

That's my biggest pet peeve. I not only see it here, but also at work.

Speaking of sandwich, I saw this in India:

ry%3D400

It's not nice 2 make fun of other people's writting!

When I get my free dinning, I'm going to order only sandwhich's & deserts.

I have a friend who is going to get her dog spaded. I'm calling the ASPCA.

Another one that gets me are those on a cruise who complain about their cabin stewart.

We were visiting friends in Arkansas several years ago and someone had a sign in their yard stating that they did "babysetting". You set them where, on the fence? :lmao:

A friend posted on her facebook how her kids were ready to go back to school because one of them said her sister was getting on her "nerds" :lmao:. They are little (kindergarten, first grade).

When I go someplace to dinne and they have a formal dress code, I like to wear a dress with lots of sequence's on it. I hope it still fits, otherwise I'll have to do an alternation.

(I'm a tailer, so I can do it myself.)
