New Swap Universal Studios/IOA

This will be a swap to help us with our scrapbook pages for Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Every time we go to WDW we spend a couple of days staying in a hotel off-site and go to Universal.

This swap will be due to be postmarked by Feb. 15, 2003. I will swap out no later than March 1st. If you live in Canada or elsewhere than the USA, you will need to send earlier so that it gets to me on time.

Description of items:
Topper/Title- 1 per person, no wider than 8.5 inches, must be matted. Computer generated lettering is fine, or can use die-cut or hand-cut letters.
Paper Piecing- 1 per person, detailed with pen, chalk, embellishments etc. Any size within reason is fine.
Borders- 1 per person, should be 11 or 12 inches long. If it is 12 inches long, should be able to cut to 11 inches. Matted at least once.
Squares (Deco or Serendipity) - 4 per person, matted once, at least 1.5" X 1.5", and embellished.
Tags - 2 per person, no smaller than 1.5x3 inches, embellished, should include either fibers or eyelets in the holes.
Shaker Box – 1 per person, should be at least 3x3.
Quote or Poem or Journal Box- Matted once and Embellished
Countable Embellishments- 10 per person. Eyelets, brads, buttons, nailheads, decorative buttons...etc. Please let me know if you have another idea.
Measurable Embellishments-Fibers or Ribbon- 1 yard per person. Please no hemp, twine, floss or plain old tiny satin ribbon.

I am envisioning that the items for any particular group will probably focus on different rides or aspects of the area, and thus may not be able to be used all on one page. For example the person making the toppers might decide to make a topper for the Spiderman ride while the person doing the paper piecing might do the Incredible Hulk. I think that will be great because we will be able to make several 1- or 2-page layouts with all of the different items!

OK here are the groups. Note that the “areas” in Universal Studios park are kind of fuzzy and hard to pinpoint. But I have tried to list some of the rides that are in each area in hopes that it will help.
