New Survey - The People of DVC

WOW! There have been 405 responses to the survey so far! :dancer:

Help to get this to 500 responses before it closes on midnight this coming Friday.

I think that a sampling that large will make it the most interesting (I wouldn't complain about 1000 responses but I doubt it will happen by the deadline).

:thewave::thewave::thewave:

Thank you for putting this together, I'm anxious to see the results.

I had only one bit of confusion with answering. That was the question: Do you have children? Yes, I have had children, but they are now adult. I was uncertain about how to answer that.

How many responses do you have so far, and how many would make a good sampling? You might want to approach DVC with the results!

I didn't take the survey yet.

I have a question about the number of DVC contracts. We have our main contract that we purchased in 1992 but have added on 10 times (keeping the same UY for all add-ons). Do I count this as one contract or 11?
Just to clarify, if all your add-on's were purchased directly from Disney, then you have one membership and 11 contracts.

However, if any of your add-on's were purchased resale, then even if they're the same use year month, they might be separate membership numbers or they might not.

The easiest way to tell is simply look at your annual dues statement. Each statement is a separate membership number, so if you get different statements showing different contracts, then they are grouped into different membership numbers.

In your case, if your base contract number was for example #12345, and all your add-on's were from Disney, then the top of your annual dues statement will read like this:

Contract Number(s): 12345.000/001/002/003/004/005/006/007/008/009/010

assuming you didn't have any add on's that you sold in between. Note that's one membership number and 11 contracts (#000 through #010)

If someone purchased from Disney, did 4 add-on's, and later sold the 2nd add on they purchased, and then did another add-on later, their statement would read like this:

Contract Number(s): 12345.000/001/003/004/005

Hope this helps

For the survey they would be children over 18 - I guess that might be a mighty big category! Afterall, I'm over 18 and I'm someone's child too :flower:

There have been 493 responses so far. I sort of had a goal of 500 and felt that was a healthy sample (of course that is a sample of people on the DIS boards and not the entire DVC population).

I hope in the 60 hours or so left, I will hit 500.

I'm sure that DVC must do tons of surveys of their membership. Don't they?

I just took it and I am sure that you will hit your 500. I have been a DVC member for just a few short months (actually we haven't closed yet) and have yet to receive any surveys of any type.

Thanks for taking the time to do this and, as many others have said, I am interested in seeing the results after you close the survey!

The surveys done by DVC are usually very basic and don't really cover the kinds of things we would like covered!
