New summer show at IOA (HydroAction Ski Show)

I have not seen a discussion about the new show yet so I figured I would start one.

You can see some details on this page from Universals website but this is all it says

HydroAction Ski Show
June 15 – August 18

Thrills and excitement take to the water as world-class athletes turn the Lagoon at Universal’s Islands of Adventure® into their own water-filled playground.

Guests will delight as these thrill seekers perform aquatic acrobatics. Add to the mix the latest toys, including high-speed boats, jet-skis, and wakeboards, set to a blend of high-energy music and you have a show jam-packed with action!

It sounds interesting but then a couple of years ago there used to be a stunt show on the water at USF. I don't really remember the lagoon and shore around it being designed to easily see a show like this. It is nice to see a new show at IoA though. Now if they would just rip out the junk left over from iVillage and put in a permanent show that runs year round.

Geez! Why does all the cool stuff stop on August 18th!!! We arrive on the 21st and are missing this and the fireworks show, plus the parks close so early! Damn! Don't enough people visit US/IOA in the late summer that the parks can stay open later? Doesn't make sense to me.
