New Summer Challenge part 2.. updated 8/2

Alright I failed miserably on my attempt to lose weight by the start of summer. And even now I'm in the middle of a temp move until August when we will move across country to Florida. This weekend is when we are gonna try to get the rest of the old place cleared out. We have trips to where we are staying and where we are storing the rest of our stuff until "real" move time. So I'll have interuptions but shouldn't have as much problems keeping up. I will have Internet all but the 4-5 days we will be traveling.

I'd like to lose 20-25 lbs by Sept. 22nd the first day of fall. I'm shooting for 25 lb. I will make my start weight what I weigh in at next Tuesday but you all can start it whenever.


All those who would like to join a 2nd summer challenge that last until September can sign in here and I'll work on a list as we sign up. :)

My plan is to do my WW journaling and stay on plan with it. I will also hopefully get my dvd player and dvd set up so I can do WATP for exercise. I will try to walk outside but it is sooooo darn hot right now I can't even take my dd to the park she'd get burned on the park equipment. :(

I'm up for the challenge. We're going to WDW in Sept, so I need to shed some pounds and get this creaky body in shape for all the walking. I know my knees will thank me for the effort. Count me in! I plan to start South Beach just as soon as I get to the grocery store and stock up on all the good stuff that I'll need.
 
Sign me up for 25lbs. by Sept 22. I won't quite reach my 30 from the last challenge due to vacations and trips, but hopefully, this next challenge will be better.

Failed miserably with Summer Challenge I - so let's get back on the bike and try again. Count me in - I am going to try slow - let's say 10lbs by Sept and I will be excited by anything else. Thanks for doing this again........I in it with you:):)

:sunny: Ok, I'm in! I lost 7.4/10 for the Summer Challenge I! I would love to lose 10 lbs. by Labor Day! Great idea!!
 
Like Linda, I also failed miserably at the first challenge. The weather is better and my work load is slowing down some so I would like to sign up for 10 lbs for this challenge.
 
I like to join the group. I need to lose more, but a little at the time is best. I'm finally down below 200, next goal 175, then 150.

I suppose I should have mentioned in my last post that I'd like to lose 10 lbs as my first goal. I did get to the store to stock up on my food for SB. I find that the hardest part of my attempt at changing my eating habits is not having good, healthy foods on hand. I also will be walking and taking advantage of my cable service which has a nice variety of workouts avaiable 24/7. Good luck to everyone...we're in this together. :cool1:
 
Sign me up for 25 pounds by September 22nd. Surgery next month might set me back a bit, but once I've recovered I'll be on fire with the weight loss. Thanks for putting this together! :teeth:
 
I'd like to join this challenge. Sign me up for 15 pounds. If I lose that 15 pounds, then I will have met my goal!

I got my journals printed out for the week. Tonight I have not figured my points yet so I gotta do that and tomorrow I have a temp journal until my official start on Tuesday. Just gotta figure out how and when I'm going to be doing my exercise. Most likely first thing in morning if I can get enough space here to do it.

I have been so far off program for the last 2 or 3 months that I am having a horrible time trying to get back into the swing of things. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get back on track??? I need all the help I can get.
 
Hey Melissa - Thanks for doing this challenge again. Didn't do so well for the first summer challenge (10.5/25). I only need about another 15 to get to my goal.
