I found an article about the new strollers. Are they really more like bike trailer type strollers? I really liked the older version and the old prices too. We are really not sure what to do. We have a 4 year old and a 5 almost 6 year old and we will be there in late Aug. I am thinking they will both need a break from walking at some point. My 5 almost 6 year old is 50 pounds so an umbrella stroller won't work.

They do make umbrella strollers that go upto 55 and 75 lbs Maclaren is one that goes upto 55 lbs, there are other brands, I can't remember the ones that go upto 75 lbs but I have seen alot of information here on Dis about strollers, I got some used umbrella strollers from craigslist in my area really inexpensive that met my requirements of 55 lbs, I figure I don't need a new one just one that works for a week in Disney, there are also the rental places (other than disney) if you do a search for stroller here on Dis you will find alot of info

The new strollers we've seen there woud never hold both a 4 & 5 year old in one double stroller. You might even need 2 doubles if you rented from Disney. They are very narrow, and seem really short in footwell legnth; my 40lb 4 year old would be squished in the single.

I'd rent one of the Baby Joggers from Orlando Stroller Rentals 1 double from them would hold both.

For me it was cheaper to buy a stroller than to rent last year.

I bought a Perego P3 from www.albeebaby.com and had it shipped to the resort. It saved me a lot of money as the stroller was much more $ up here in Canada.

Does any one know the name of the strollers who hold up to 75 lbs? My dd is 5 going on 6 but is on the heavy side and I just do not know what to do as far as a stroller goes. Would really be interested to learn which brand makes one that holds up to 75 lbs. TIA

Could your kids walk if you took a break now and then? It could save a lot of money, plus keep the family sane.

We have 3 kids (8,6,3) and going the first week of December. We are considering Orlando Stroller Rentals. They deliver and pickup the stroller(s) at your resort and their reviews have been very positive. I'm new here so I can't include their website, but is simply their name with no spaces.

Most single jogging strollers, including the Baby Jogger City Classic available for rent at Orlando Stroller Rentals, hold up to 75lbs. They're also a dream to push and have the best sun canopy on the market (in my opinion). We bring our own City Classic for our 5 yr old DS and rent the City Mini for our 2 and 3 year olds.
