Has anyone had the chance to see the new Star Tours in a motionless simulator the way you could on the original Star Tours (preferrably at Walt Disney World)? If so, can you give me an idea of when you went on, how crowded it was, and the general procedure?

Thanks,
Robert

I don't know about WDW, but I have been told by others (not CMs) that they are not doing motionless simulators in DL anymore.

Normally the only time you could get the motionless "ride" was when they were not using all six simulators. Once crowds start dying down there is the possibility that this might be brought back.

But don't quote me on this.

That was my thought too. It's probably so busy at this point that taking a simulator off line for a run would cause even more backup.

In the past, the procedure was to ask at the entrance. Sometimes, they we not running all the simulators and had enough staff that they were able to run a cycle of the attraction with just the movie, no motion.
More often, people reported they were given a time to come back when a motionless cycle could be done.
