NEW Splash Mountain Height Req

Blackjackdelta, are you reporting from DL and this is what you saw, or is the info just from the mouseplanet mini-article (which was just "people online reported this and one person called DL about it)?

Just thought I would throw it out there. Brother had called and said that it had changed this AM, my cousin is there. MP is usually pretty reliable.

SIXTY inches, are you kidding me?? What hogwash! Upping the height requirement for the front seat is one thing, but jeez! Some of the biggest roller coasters at other non-Disney parks don't even have that high of a height requirement, and this is for something as tame as SPLASH? Maybe they should consider re-doing the logs again if there's such a "problem" with kids slipping around up there.

I'm only 4'3" so I guess I will never again be able to ride the front of Splash Mountain. Not that I personally like sitting in the front all that much, but it's the principle of the thing!

I'm okay with this change. I am just under 5'0 and I won't mind using this as an excuse to NOT ride in the front.

oops! Guess I'll be wearing stilletos to DL now! I am barely 5'1. YIKES!

I don't have an opinion on the height requirement. Just posting to request a pic of ctamama...next time she's strolling around pooh corner in stilletos.
