New Spa at GF to open 12/17

Found this on WDW website. Glad to hear Disney is taking back the spa there. Any news if they are going to take back the SSR Spa. Kind of ironic that they use to own the SSR spa and leased out the GF one. Now it is opposite.

They are taking back control of all the other salons on 16 January and the SSR spa will close for refurb on that date too. When it reopens Disney will be running it too.

I also asked MS and as yet there is no discounts for DVC members at the GF spa.

Glad to hear they are taking them back and refurbishing. I have lost count of the number of times I have scheduled massages at both spas and the steam room is not working. Actually became a joke between DH and me. Going to be there 12/19 for a couple of nights will be making myself a reservation for sure.

Any place have a menu yet of full services and prices?

I am going to arrive at the GF on Dec 24th and I'm thinking a Christmas Day massage might be the perfect gift for myself. I think I'll be asking for Disney gift card this Christmas. Thanks for the info.

I work for the spa. No menu has been released yet. But you can still book appointments. It's gorgeous!!!!
