New MagicBand options for Disney resort guests: In addition to about 30 specialty MagicBands, priced from $7-20, there are now 9 new solid color bands available for the same $5 price as the 8 traditional colors.

They are only available with a Disney resort stay. You order them in MDE.

They have to nickle and dime us, the rooms are expensive enough. Disney probably figures that it´s only $5.00.

That's so fun! I look at MB as an inexpensive souvenir that makes our trips easier as well as more fun.

Where do you see this--it didn't pop us for me. I have a reservation in April. I wonder if it is working for later in the year reservations or I don't know how to navigate MDE?

I went in the app last night and saw this. Placed the order just now and it went through fine.

I agree, we got the free ones during our last Disney vacation. Will keep using that one even if the battery goes dead. Can't see any reason to wear it except while at Disney, so never really thought of it as any kind of souvenir.

I was only missing orange from the solid colors. Now I'm missing orange, olive green, light navy, soft yellow, .....

I'm afraid I'm still confused (sorry). I got to this page. It says I have an active Magic Band but I don't see how to order. When I click 'Choose MagicBands' I get to the page at WDW but I can't see how to purchase them.

I was going to get Olive Green for DH but he want's to reuse our bands.

I'm glad to see all these choices. I want to reuse our custom ones we already have and now I can get matching colors to switch the puck out when the bands are getting older

Cool! More color combinations to mix! I need a lavender one to go with the colors in my Haunted Mansion MB and I think the soft yellow for my Jungle Cruise MB.

I ordered ours 2 days ago and they already shipped.

Very different than other trips. I guess because they have been purchased and you can no longer tweak them for a certain amount of time, no need to make you wait.
