New Soarin flight video?

First off - there are two theaters in both California and epcot. The rumored closing in California would take both theaters down at the same time, but Soarin' out there isn't NEARLY as popular as in Florida. Once they get the movie in California, then they'll schedule the conversion @ Epcot. The do have the option that they could just take down one theater at a time. The lines would be even longer with only one theater going. I wouldn't expect the conversion to take particularly long, since with the exception of the projector(s) it is all software conversion.

If they close down 1 theater in Epcot, standby riders would never get to go on unless Disney reduced the amount of FP+ that people could reserve.

that's why I don't think Disney will ever do that they will close both down at one time.

It's not hard from them to drop the number of FP reservations available for a particular attraction.

Ick the thought of having to wait in a single theater Soarin line is horrible!

Test Track closed for a long time did people riot then? TT and Soarin are really the only E-ticket level attractions in Epcot.

I believe there was a lot of discontent. Multiply that because Soarin is a more popular attraction than TT.

I still think a refurb is necessary the theaters need a bit of updating. It's not like the attraction would be closed for a year just a couple months. You do it during January February march or late august September early October depending on how long it takes. I can't see them closing one theater at a time lines would double.
