Starwood Vacation Ownership Embarks on Two-Year Project to Expand Owners' Dining Options
Epicureans, get ready to please your palates. Sheraton Vistana Villages in Orlando, Florida, has transformed the Flagler Station Bar & Grill formerly a general store and a quick stop for sandwiches and other snacks into a full-service, sit-down restaurant, complete with breakfast, lunch and dinner service open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
On the menu are classic breakfast items, standard fare including burgers, hot dogs, BLTs and Reuben sandwiches for lunch, and prime steaks, seafood, chicken and pasta for dinner.
Meanwhile, the former Flagler Station market is being enlarged into a general store and relocated on the property. Once it opens this summer, it will provide more extensive offerings, including an enhanced deli with grab-and-go express offerings. It also will feature ready-to-eat items as well as raw ingredients for villa cooking.
"This gives all of our Owners and guests the opportunity to buy more items conveniently and have additional amenities from which to choose," said Assistant General Manager Ralph Reveron. "It will also allow for more time to enjoy the vacation without having to search an unfamiliar area for basic items, quick snacks or full meals."
The expansion at Sheraton Vistana Villages is part of a two-year, multi-million dollar development project that when complete will mean enhanced food and beverage options for you at 12 Starwood Vacation Ownership resorts. The following is whats planned for many resorts:
A casual upscale restaurant offering a variety of dishes and specialties with local flair.
A marketessan offering plenty of groceries including paper goods, produce, meat and dairy items. You can choose from raw or prepped items for cooking in your villa or purchase fully prepared items. Also included will be a small retail area.
A swim-up pool bar and outdoor grill eatery with scenic views of the area.
