New Signature Guidelines

I'm sorry if this either has already been posted here (have been searching and didn't see it) or if it is not regarding this board (though I believe this is affecting all of DIS) but on another DIS board I am reading I found out about this. Seems effective tomorrow there will be new signature guidelines which will affect many of us.

lol I figured as much. Kind of happy and kind of sad about this one but I'm sure I will find a way to make do lol. Already have made a few changes to mine and working a way to fix the rest

That's pretty cool. I was actually expecting them to get more strict, but it sounds a little less strict. (Not that I'll really get anywhere near any of those limits, but still...)

in a way it is more strict as 250 pixels high is not very much space to work with unless they have better ways of allowing text next to images more so than just one line, but as people have been suggesting there is always making an image with your text in it too so who knows. love the image thing though since sometimes it is difficult to choose

The easiest thing to do is design your own jpg with multiple pics and text that is 250 X 600. It will make things a lot easier on the folks with small monitors. I tend to forget how much more scrolling is involved on my widescreen until I check in from work and think, man, that siggie is GINORMOUS!

Okay..I have three images I think would fit in the box horizontally okay, but how do I get them that way? I remember when I put them in my signature, I couldn't figure out how to get them side by side..Any hints or clues for the computer illiterate?

Remember, too, that you can turn off signatures if you're tired of seeing them.
