New Show on the Magic!!!

This may have been posted before...just got my mousesavers newletter..and here is what it says....

New Show on the Disney Magic
"Twice Charmed - An Original Twist on the Cinderella Story" will replace "Hercules the Muse-ical" on the Disney Magic.

"Hercules" will be performed for the last time on the Magic during the April 9 sailing. "Twice Charmed" will make its debut on the May 14 sailing. In the interim, Disney will substitute other entertainment. The April 16 and 23 sailings will feature performances by the Bumblesquats. The April 30 sailing will include magician Mike Super. The May 7 sailing will offer juggling act Wilde and Haines.

"Hercules the Muse-ical" will continue to be offered on the Disney Wonder

There were a few posts about this last week or so....sounds like a great show..thanks for posting again for other who may not have seen the other posts. I for one, though will miss Hercules....

This sounds like the change is going to coincide with the 14-night Panama Canal cruise. I bet they're all very happy to know they'll have a brand new show onboard

A new show is exciting... but I am one of the few who absolutely LOVE Hurcules, and will really miss it.

We too love Hercules and will miss it. Have seen it 6 times and each time it has been unique because of the ad libbing they do.

Hercules will still be playing on the Wonder.
I was the first to find out about Twice Chanmed, I think(here on the boards).
I'm going on the repo cruise and call regularly to DCL to find out about announcements. They said there are no plans as yet to put the new show on the Wonder. I bet they eventually do.
BUT,,,, the good news is that I will get to see it again on the DVC cruise on the Wonder. I also loved Hercules. I didn't take any pictures as it was the first cruise and wasn't smart enough. Regret it now.

I am glad that I was able to watch Hercules....I laughed so hard I was crying...My daughters didnt find it that humerous but I did...Hades could have performed the whole show and I would have been happy!!!

I am looking forward to seeing the new show....though we have not booked another cruise............YET.....still trying to justify to my dh that we dont need another car...and we can spend that money on a vacation..$$$$$...lol....

That's exciting! I'm bummed, though, because we're going to miss it by just one sailing! We're going to be on the May 7 sailing. Oh well... I just won't mention it to my Cinderella-addicted daughter!

I understand that Disney needs to change things to keep the experience magical for everyone, but I loved Hercules too! My sister says I wasn't impressed with it when we saw it (which was only once), but I still get the giggles and lol when I think about Hades holding his "head" off to the side and singing,

"Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii ain't got no boooooooooooooooooo-dyyyyyyyyyy"

A magical memory indeed.

Hmmmmm....I like new shows, but I wonder if this one will be a repeater.
I've seen Disney Dreams well over 40 times now, and I never, ever miss The Golden Mickeys. I tend to like shows with several different Disney movies worked into them. Oh well, hopefully this new show will be a pleasant surprise.
