Just heard the Magic was offering a new show on the first night of the cruise and was wondering if anyone had seen it. This will be our 3rd time on the Magic and although we loved Golden Mickeys and the rest of the nightly shows, we were excited to hear there was a new one! :teeth:

Oh I hope so!! I really don't want to have to sleep though Hercules again LOL! A new show to replace that one would be great!

Yeah...I remember someone posting something about a new show a while back. I don't remember any of the details, but I think you are right about the new show! Those variety shows are ok, but that would be great for something new!!! :)

I'd love a new show...and with the 14 day cruises coming up, I really think we'll get one. BUT...I don't want the new show to replace an exsisting show. I love all 3 of the currently running shows.

Hey! That was my favorite of all of the shows. I laughed through the whole thing.

if my DD6 didn't like Meg, her love song and Pain&Panic so much, then I wouldn't like Hercules either. it's more tolerable when your little ones have a special interest in it.

i personally didn't like the Peter Pan & Ann Marie story. it was too much drama (talking). but it was still fun because my DD6 was picked to go on stage as one of snow white's seven dwarfs.

Indeed, the welcome aboard show on the Magic changed sometime between last March and last month. It's similar to the show it replaced - song and dance numbers with a couple independent entertainers in-between - but it has a story line. The story is about a fellow who wants to be captain of the Magic. It recreates the embarkation experience with a replica of the Sailor Mickey Statue and the announcement of family names. It also has a scene that looks to be on deck 4. The show still includes the "be our guest" number and the introduction of the captain and his management team, but the rest appears different.

I have a few pictures of the show here: http://www.pbase.com/srmchan/disney_cruise_line&page=all See pictures 4046 thru 4129. (I have even more that I haven't uploaded if you really want to see them.)
