The penny arcade is great, and its so retro.

although, i wish they had more then 1 game.

But the rest rocks!

Except for the checkers room, that music is following me everywhere and getting so annoying, so i decided not to go back in there for the rest of my life.

I am, of course, confused! While standing in the queue for the checker game, I was repeatedly challenged to games. When I accepted the challenge, nothing happened. When it got to be my turn, I got in the chair and played. The other player and I played until the game called "a draw" and we both got booted from the chairs, with no credit given. Awww!

Hmm, I haven't seen GreenieMimi comment on this, yet. But she can attest that both Polychrome and I (while we were closing in the VMK Gallery last night) both made comments at the same time about replacing the Narnia throne. Coincidence? Absolutely.

Haha! My first thought when I saw the new Skyway Chair!

I was in line to play this morning. I was probably the third or fourth person in line. When I was next to play I had to go pick up my son from school and had to leave. I guess what I'm saying is that it was a pretty long wait, about fifteen minutes I would say as the third person in line. I would imagine that this morning was pretty slow compared to say this afternoon or tonight when everybody is home and figures out what is going on.

Soooo....I'm thinking that the wait in line and how long it takes to play the game may ruin any sort of incentive for me to play, unless the credits in return compensate.
What does everyone else think?

You can walk through each game room by clicking the "exit" spot in front of the Knife-thrower Table on the far right of the checker game room. Keep walking through rooms, you'll find an empty one! HTH!

It appears they have done away with the second music room off the monorail line!

ETA: I am mistaken. The room is still there; the quick link at the bottom of the screen is gone.

I hate having to wait for the train .. guess I'll give it a miss until they get that link going again.

Okay, after playing around with checkers for a while, I have a few things to add: - I LOVE having a thinking game.
- If you are looking for credits, this is not the place, but it's a fun new arcade game!
- You cannot gain points playing against friends. Let me explain. If you beat a friend once, you can never get a point for beating that same person again. You can lose your point to them if they beat you and then earn it back when you beat them again, but you cannot get multiple points playing against the same friend.
- I think the magic is not really a smart move on VMK's behalf. Again, let me explain. If you are credit rich, and your opponent is not, you could rule the kingdom in this game. I don't think this is good. Magic pins should either be cheaper or not 1 time use.

Overall reaction: I love it. However, don't care for the magic element of it.

Monkey, a few of us have decided that this is no longer working because there are no open game rooms. We have to try it later to test it.

I agree with the game full or too busy theory. The challenge feature was working earlier today. It would bring you right to a game. There was no line.

I just came home from work and was so happy to get on and see this only I'm a bit lost with the checkers game, as you can see my BRAIN was left at work so as you can see I'm slow tonight . Anyway I practically understand the rules of the game(thanx to all for the info )but this is were my brain got lost; I know you can send a "challenge" to ppl by clicking on the checkers pin(okay here's finally my q)..where do u get such pin, I have seen it in a few ppl but I have no clue how to get it, this might be a stupid q but my brain can only get so far Hope someone can help

where on earth is everyone getting those challenge pins? I would like to know too, i have been wondering. The checker lines are so long i havent even been able to play a game.
