New services worth paying for.

There are certain services for which I would gladly pay higher maintenance fees. More pool chairs and a larger coffee supply are two that come to mind. Any others?

I would like to see ice makers in the freezers at BWV. Our first stay was at OKW, which has ice makers. I was surprised when we stayed at BWV and there were none. I assume there are also none at VWL & BCV? I would not be in favor of additional dues for consumable items like coffee, that falls under the "pay as you play" plan.

nope, no icemaker in the room at VWL. But there are the ice machines in the hall area, so we just went there for our ice.

You can always request a toaster in a studio.

Just back from BCV studio. The toaster is there, just hidden in the cabinet above the microwave. We thought the same thing that there was no toaster until we explored.

Seriously I wish the CM's would enforce the no-saving of chairs at SAB,VB,etc, even it raised our dues a little.

I'd like more supplies in the room, such as salt/pepper, placemats, coasters. Also how about more bars of soap, the last couple of times at OKW we got one bar of hand soap but there are two sinks in the 1BR bathroom area.

BWV, VWL owner. I honestly can't think of anything else I'd want at these resorts. They are perfect in every way!

But how about this... we pool our dues for a DVC lounge at each of the parks.

Washer and dryer in the studios. I know, I know, this will never happen, and if I "really" want a washer and dryer I can stay in a 1 BR or higher. BUT most of my trips it's just me or me and one other person, so I often don't need more than a studio. But when staying in a studio for 10 plus days, it would be sooo nice to be able to do laundry in my room.

Better mattresses and or changing the mattresses more frequently (maybe we had a bad room, it was only one stay).

I'll second salt and pepper. Cheap. And we couldn't find it at the Screen Door. But not coffee - I'm a coffee snob and want the "good stuff" anyway. And broadband - wireless or a jack.

Ice makers break too often - ours at home has been broken for a year and they are expensive to fix.

I know they used to have placemats & coasters at OKW, not sure about salt & pepper. I think too may "disappeared".

We've had the problem with the soap, I always bring a couple extra bars, one for the extra bathroom sink & one for the kitchen sink.
