New security notification during signin

It seems that after the most recent updates this morning a new security feature have been implemented.

When I signed in, I got the following mail:

Yes, I received it last night after signing in right around 9PM eastern time. It was immediate after my sign on that I did because of a call from MS about something they had fixed on my account.

As a result of this thread, I signed in yesterday afternoon on my iPad but didn’t get an email. Later in the evening I was cleaning out my Junk mail, and of course, there it was!

The really interesting thing is that I’m at WDW now, and the email said I had logged in from Michigan!

Weird I continue to receive these emails even though I sign in from the same computer and same location.

I recently received something like this from "Amazon"...wanting all kinds of info...Immediately clicked out without opening link, deleted and changed passwords...that's usually how I handle these...

I have been getting these emails, also. I have been logging in on 3 different computers, so I figured that was the reason.

Are you all saying that it is not DVC sending this? I've just been ignoring them but it is irritating.

It is DVC. Nothing to worry about but yes, they do get annoying lol

Via the number of email notifications he noticed on our shared email, my DH gently asked if I was “ok”

Indicative of many times per day I ck website for 2 missing nights we need for Dec trip lol

As someone that is ALWAYS checking availability, this is so annoying with my emails.
Is there anyway I can turn off this setting to receive these messages?

Exactly. Wonder why they can't add a "remember this device" button so at least it will remember devices people log in from regularly. Ugh
